With a heavy heart....On December 19th the world lost a wonderful woman, friend, mother and wife. After fighting breast cancer for a year and a half, my friend, Jamie, was taken from us...way too early. She was only 31 years old.
I have tried to write this post over and over again, but just cannot come up with the words. What can I say about Jamie that will give any of you an idea of what an extremely wonderful person she was. She has taught me many things in the short time that I knew her, but above all she taught me to appreciate what I have, and to cherish every moment I have with my friends and family. Jamie was the strongest person I have ever known, who fought this ugly disease until the very end. I'm am still amazed at her positive attitude she always had.
There is not a day that goes by that I don't think about Jamie.
Jamie left behind a husband and triplet 2 year olds. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think about them either.
Jamie, you are in a better place now. This post is for you... In loving memory.
