In Loving Memory

With a heavy heart....

On December 19th the world lost a wonderful woman, friend, mother and wife. After fighting breast cancer for a year and a half, my friend, Jamie, was taken from us...way too early. She was only 31 years old.

I have tried to write this post over and over again, but just cannot come up with the words. What can I say about Jamie that will give any of you an idea of what an extremely wonderful person she was. She has taught me many things in the short time that I knew her, but above all she taught me to appreciate what I have, and to cherish every moment I have with my friends and family. Jamie was the strongest person I have ever known, who fought this ugly disease until the very end. I'm am still amazed at her positive attitude she always had.

There is not a day that goes by that I don't think about Jamie.

Jamie left behind a husband and triplet 2 year olds. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think about them either.

Jamie, you are in a better place now. This post is for you... In loving memory.

Oh my goodness...I am so sorry for the loss of your friend....I teared up reading your post...and how my heart goes out to her husband and babies...I hope they will grow up knowing how much I'm sure their mom loved them...and will continue to love them....

Three years and the memories are still fresh and beautiful. Jamie's courage and strength were amazing. If God will lead you to it - He will lead you through it. RIP Jamie
