It was a beautiful day and a beautiful wedding! I'm so excited for them and we all had a great time :)

My little man was the ring bearer and Jenn's niece was the flower girl.... aren't they adorable?

First class over!

Well, my first class is over, and I just received my grade. I got an A! Woo Hoo!! I'm so excited, I just had to share :) So on to my next class, which is World Religions. I think it will be really interesting, and I'm sure I'll learn a lot!

One thing that is wonderful about going back to college as a returning adult...I think you get a lot more out of it, and appreciate it a lot more. You don't really look at it as just one more class, getting you closer to graduation and a degree. You really look at it as a learning opportunity, not as something you "have to do."

My first class was enviornmental science. I don't think I'll remember everything I learned in that class, but if nothing else, the class has made me more aware...aware of what I'm throwing away, what I'm wasting and what I can do to help the environment.

Camera Critters 9/6

Camera Critters

Well, as much as I don't want to admit it, it is getting cooler out, which means fall is upon us. Don't get me wrong I love fall, but after that is winter, which I dread. But I found a cute picture from last winter...one of my favorites. This was taken in our backyard. My son and my dog Sully were having a blast!!

Have a good weekend everyone!

Cancer Sucks

Every minute one American will die from cancer. That is one every 60 seconds. 1,500 Americans every day die from cancer. That is CRAZY. I don't know one person who has not been affected by cancer in one why or another. Right now I have a very strong, and AMAZING friend who is battling Stage IV breast cancer. My aunt is a cancer survivor. Who do you know who has been affected by cancer?

What can you do? Stand Up to Cancer.

SU2C is an organization working with the top experts in cancer research. Stand Up To Cancer is forging a new way to develop breakthroughs that will end cancer. They're putting together the best and the brightest minds in cancer research They are building interdisciplinary “Dream Teams” of scientists, clinicians, technicians and other experts, who will focus on a specific cancer problem. SU2C will track the teams' progress in real time, so that everyone who invests can see how their participation is creating real change. (Taken from the mission statement found here.)

What does this mean to you?

You can donate by going here. Any amount will help!!

Please help your friends, family, co-workers and fellow Americans beat this horrible desease. Remember one person a minute dies from this disease. In the time it took me to write this blog, 12 people have died from cancer.

Please help me Stand up to Cancer.

Thank you!
